IMPORTANT NOTE: These Rails fit MK1’s and Mk2’s, Mk2.5’s the story is a little more complex. This is due to the rail being slightly different design and having some standard bracing, it means that the rear most brace has to be sacrificed. This should more than be made up for by the upgraded floor rails, but is something to bear in mind.
Whether you have ingress of rust towards each end of the rail around the seam to the double skinned section, or if it looks like your rails have been used for last years pancake day, we have developed new floor rail panels to replace them entirely. We offer either a like for like, or an upgraded thickness panel to increase chassis stiffness to improve handling feel and response. The 3mm thick upgraded rails combined with the spreader plates are designed together to sandwich the floor pan to reduce temporary corner induced flex, allowing for better directional control and flatter cornering.
An easy comparison to make is the bolt over frame rails which are common place on the market. Though effective, they have to be able to positioned right and drilled into the floor pan to attach, leading to more points to allow moisture into the cabin and cause rust. The effectiveness of the bolt over frame rails is hindered by the rails ability to shift slightly due to tolerances in hole sizes for the bolts, whereas our frame rails have 0 movement due to being welded into the car.

Supply and fitting floor rail panels, including spreader plates and all protective coatings inside and out – is £551.48 for a single side or £826.32 for the pair. This includes all parts, materials, labour and VAT.
