Drive in , drive out supercharger conversion for Mk1 / Mk2 / Mk2.5 models – £6100
Including parts, labour and vat.
Our supercharger conversions use high quality parts to ensure a reliable and linear 170 – 200 bhp. Features of the conversion include:
- High quality supercharger mounting brackets, inlet, outlet and auto tensioner
- Motorsport electronics ME442 Ecu with onboard wideband control
- Bosch EV14 640cc injectors
- Front mount intercooler and all piping
- Refurbished Mini M45 Supercharger
- 150mm crank pulley overlay
This setup will provide a good boost in power whilst remaining well within the safe power limits of a standard engine. The car will be loaded with a base map and will then be road tuned to provide a safe driveable map, however we do recommend having the car tuned on a rolling road to provide optimal performance.
Whilst the power level is within the limits of the 1.8 clutch, we recommend fitting an upgraded clutch on all 1.6 models and 1.8 models where the age/condition of the clutch is unknown. Prices for clutches here.
For Mk1 1.6 models additional parts will be required to covert the throttle position sensor and will incur additional cost.
