MTEC brake discs are machined in the UK to offer excellent braking performance. The design of the disc is packed with features that ensure the braking system can deliver the performance required for fast road and track work. The grooves and dimples machined into the disc help to deglaze the pad and reduce fade at extreme operating temperatures whilst reducing the risk of cracking. Uniquely, MTEC’s discs are coated and heat treated after the machining process to reduce corrosion on the machined areas of the disc. These discs come coated in a silver coating to reduce corrosion on the unswept areas of the discs ensuring they look great for years.
