1.8 Engine – MX5 Mk1

A good used 1.8 engine removed from a 1994 Roadster RS Ltd. Will fit all Mk1 1.8 models. Donor vehicle was showing 184,000 kms (114,000 miles).

Tested prior to removal the engine ran well with no smoke or bad noises. Compression tested before removal all 4 cylinders showing between 210 & 215 Psi.

Whilst it showed no signs of leaking whilst running the metal water pump and thermostat outlet pipes are corroded and we would recommend changing these before fitting to avoid future problems.
