    A very engaging review of work in hand over a comprehensive range of MX-5 versions. I had my ’97 UK model 1.8 (mk 1) refabricated by these guys and they really know what they’re doing. That was four years ago and the car still looks A1, despite all year round use. If you’re reading this and have a ‘keeper’ Mk3.5, or Mk4, then get your car booked in for additional wax injection and undersealing. They are great little cars, but underbody corrosion protection isn’t a strong point.

    This is not the opinion of a general enthusiast; in a former role I was Head of Product Development for ICI’s corrosion protection systems for OEM vehicle manufacturing.
