MX5 Floor / Chassis Rail Replacement Panel

Replacement and reinforced MX5 Mk1/2 Floor rail

The MX5 floor rail (or chassis rail) is prone to both damage and corrosion issues, so The MX5 Restorer has developed a solution with these replacement weld in floor rails, simply cut out your existing rotten and/or damaged floor rail and weld in our stronger replacement, available in either 1.5mm or 3mm thick steel either option is thicker than the originals and will be safe to jack the car up on without causing the damage we so often see, either option will also reduce scuttle shake due to the increased strength.

These replacement panels are not handed, so simply order 2 if you want to replace both sides.
